With over two decades behind the decks, Stephen Day is a DJ, producer, and music director whose sound draws a direct line from the clubs of North East England to the dancefloors of Southeast Asia. His early passions — Deep House, Soulful House, Disco, and Italo — shaped by Masters At Work, Kerri Chandler, Miguel Migs, and Larry Levan — form the bedrock of a style built on groove, warmth, and impeccable selection.
Stephen held UK residencies at Gatecrasher Leeds and The Empire in Middlesbrough before relocating to Singapore, where he quickly established himself across the city's most prominent rooms. A three-year residency at Ministry of Sound and a two-year stint at Stereolab anchored his early years in Asia, followed by sets at Kilo Lounge, Tanjong Beach Club, Cé La Vi, Kyō, W Hotel, and Potato Head. His festival credits include ULTRA Music Festival Singapore, ZoukOut, Neon Lights, and WonderFruit Bangkok. He's shared stages with Vidojean, Faul & Wad, Aaron Sevilla, Alan Dixon, Arodes, Kiko Franco, Bun Xapa, Shimza, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Boy George, Kenny Dope, David Morales, Dennis Ferrer, Cinthie, and Deetron.
Today, Stephen serves as Music Director at Mondrian Hotel Singapore, overseeing the sonic identity of the hotel's venues including Jungle Ballroom. He is the founder of Solid Ground, an events brand, and co-founder of GaiaVIP, a curated events brand bringing elevated electronic music experiences to Singapore's nightlife scene, including a sell-out F1 party for Red Bull Oracle.
As a producer, his debut on Seven Music climbed to number 12 on the Traxsource Deep House chart, with subsequent releases on Large Records, Chronovision, and Plastik People. In 2024, he signed a single to Tensnake's True Romance label. His corporate portfolio spans fashion and brand events for Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Christian Dior, Porsche, Audi, Visa, PayPal, and Ermenegildo Zegna.
